Healthy School Lunches

Tomorrow is the first day of school in our county. Are you ready for your kids first day of school? What strategies do you use to keep them eating healthy? Here are my healthy lunch tips. 

1. Get them involved with planning the menu and packing their own lunch. 

2. Try to include fresh fruits and vegetables. 

3. Skip the juice and liquid sugar. Water is best. 

4. Be sure to include some healthy protein. 

5. Allow one free choice.
